Matcha Crinkle Grinch Heart Cookies

To start, Melt the butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. In a stand mixer, Add in the melted butter, granulated sugar, salt, almond milk, and the egg. Let this whisk together on medium speed for 3-4 minutes, or until the batter was fluffy and a pale yellow color. Then Add in the flour, baking powder, and matcha powder. Let this mix in the stand mixer on high speed until the cookie dough formed.
Then, Line my baking sheet with parchment paper and portioned out the cookie dough into 6 ounce balls. I coated each dough ball with powdered sugar generously. This recipe yielded 8 cookies .
Then Bake these at 350ºF/180ºC for 10-12 minutes.
I found small heart shaped sprinkles and added them on top for the ‘Grinch heart” ♡
