A dog-safe birthday cake made with oat flour, peanut butter, apple sauce, and pumpkin — no sugar or xylitol. An easy homemade dog birthday cake recipe.

    For the cake batter, Combine everything in one large bowl. This was also my first time using oat flour, I read this was the healthiest flour to use that was also accessible . The batter was very thick but still sticky/wet, in case you’re looking for the same consistency I had.

    Bake this in a 6 inch springform pan at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 min. Add a piece of parchment paper to the bottom of the pan to make this “non-stick.”

    After it was done baking, Let this cool to room temperature and made the puppy friendly frosting, which was super easy! I just whisked together plain, non-fat greek yogurt with peanut butter. Then Grate carrots to add as “sprinkles” on top .
