by JosephineBrown sugar cookies packed with semisweet chocolate chips and chopped pecans for crunch and richness. An easy one-bowl cookie recipe with no chilling.
In a small pan, Start by browning the butter. Add in the butter over medium-high heat and let this simmer for about 5-6 minutes, or until the butter turned amber brown. Then in a large bowl, Add in the browned butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix this for about 3-4 minutes, until the sugar was dissolved.
Then Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt and combined well with the wet ingredients. Once this was well combined, Add in the chocolate chips. Then Roughly chop the pecans and folded it into the cookie dough. On a parchment lined pan, Portion each cookie by 6 ounces, and froze the dough for 1 hour.
While the cookie dough was in the freezer, Preheat the oven to 425 F (218C).
Once the cookie dough was frozen, Bake it for 8-10 minutes, or until the top was golden brown.
