In a large mixing bowl, combine all the wet ingredients: egg, sugar, honey, avocado oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Stir in the black sesame powder and mashed bananas until smooth.

Sift in the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until fully combined.

Pour the batter into a parchment-lined loaf pan. Top with chocolate chips and sliced banana.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean with just a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely before slicing.
